Eyre Business co-directors Kerri Cliff and Kathleen Tierney attended this year’s Social Procurement Game Changer Awards hosted by Social Traders for the WA/SA region in Adelaide on Monday the 22nd of August. They had a great time networking with other Social Traders and learning more about how social procurement partnerships are happening between other organisations within the region.
They also subsequently attended the South Australian Social Enterprise Council (SASEC) AGM. We would like to highlight how much work Social Traders and SASEC do in promoting and expanding recognition of social enterprises within the community while working towards better social outcomes. It was a great opportunity to catch up with like-minded people and to appreciate how wide-spread and diverse the work of social enterprises is and the growing support for social procurement in the business sector.
